Central to the Clubhouse philosophy is the work-ordered day, a work day that reflects a typical work day in the community. Each Clubhouse is focused around the concept that recovery can happen when members engage in meaningful work. Here at Wasatch House we have four different work units that allow members to engage in the work of the Clubhouse side-by-side with staff; utilize their unique strengths, talents, and abilities; and feel empowered as they take upon themselves responsibilities and ownership of the Clubhouse. At Wasatch House our four work units are the Business Unit, the Career Unit, the Kitchen Unit, and the W.A.G. Unit.
